Burns Night supper a hit in Headley

A BURNS Night supper hosted by Headley Twinning Association was packed with activities in keeping with tradition.

Piper Graham Mudie set the mood by playing as guests entered the hall and again when the haggis was brought in.

The evening reportedly started “in style” when Clare Loosley sang four traditional songs, with master of ceremonies Jo Smith keeping the evening “flowing”.

Band Kindred Spirit kept guests entertained and Liz Goés called the dances.

The evening was said to have gone “really well”.

*Headley Twinning Association is also set to host a quiz night at Headley Village Hall on Saturday, March 21.

And from May 21 to 24, they will be hosting French families from their twin town of Corne.
